Scottish Parliament Debates Animals and Wildlife Bill

In June of 2020, the Scottish Parliament carefully reviewed, discussed and debated the Animals and Wildlife Bill, including recommendations from a recent session of the Environment, Climate Change & Land Reform Committee. A key issue was an amendment to prohibit primitive acoustic deterrent devices (ADDs) because of the harm they’re known to cause seals and other marine mammals.
